Jacob Schubert
I design it, build it, ship it and keep it running.
I don't stop at the design. I write the code, run the servers and answer the support emails. Everything below is live right now.

Hunting Game

Hide and seek, with the whole town as the map.
You draw the play area on a map first. A park, a campus, a few blocks. Then hunters chase runners through real streets, tracked live by GPS. Hunters don't see a dot on a map. They get a direction and a distance on a radar, so they have to look up and actually run.
Power-ups are hidden around the map, you can play in squads, and you can watch the whole game again afterwards.

AthleteOS

Training that knows you have a game on Friday.
Student athletes have practice, games, exams and not much sleep. Most training plans ignore all of that. AthleteOS asks two quick questions every morning, how you slept and how sore you are, and builds the day's workout around the answers. It also tells you why.
Coaches get a dashboard that shows who's ready, who's tired and who's coming back from an injury, before practice even starts.

ak-schubert.com
A website for Anna-Katharina Schubert, a film director in London.
Her films are quiet and precise, so the site is too. One serif, a warm paper background, nothing that moves without a reason. Her films, including the short Glass Child, her bio, and a contact form that lands straight in her inbox. Hosted on my server.

Hi, I'm Jacob.
I build things for phones and for the web, and I like doing all of it. The design, the code, the backend, the server, getting through App Store review, and answering the support emails afterwards.
Hunting Game started because I wanted to know if hide and seek could work across a whole town. AthleteOS started because training plans for students never cared about their timetable. Both turned into real products.
Everything here runs on a server I look after myself. If something breaks at night, that's on me.
